The VC-1SC-4K is a highly adaptable interface that addresses modern needs where simple signal conversion is no longer enough. This robust, streamlined package delivers high-quality 4K processing, precision control, and fast setup in a variety of display scenarios, from live events to fixed installations and beyond.

Reliable and Flexible Conversion for SDI and HDMI Sources

The VC-1SC-4K is equipped with SDI and HDMI inputs that support 4K and HD signals at various frame rates, as well as a reference input for locking to a system clock. The powerful onboard engine provides stable cross conversion of professional video sources with premium 4:4:4 10-bit processing and full support for 12G/6G/3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 formats.

Quick Layout and ROI Cropping

With its versatile video scaling tools, the VC-1SC-4K makes it simple to interface with a wide range of display types. Match your input source to the screen’s resolution with flexible size and position control. And use the ROI (Region of Interest) function to crop a specific area and get the most from non-16:9 displays.

Versatile SDI and HDMI Signal Distribution

The VC-1SC-4K easily handles video format conversions for maximum flexibility. Converted signals are output simultaneously on all video outputs (two SDI and two HDMI), allowing you to distribute video to multiple devices without extra hardware.

Pro Audio I/O with Audio Sync

The XLR balanced inputs and outputs on the VC-1SC-4K ensure reliable integration with professional AV systems. Embedded audio from the video inputs can be enabled or disabled, and there's also an internal delay function with up to three seconds of adjustment for syncing audio with video as needed.

Built for Reliable Operation

The rugged metal design gives you a highly durable platform for all your production needs. Input and output terminals are well protected, and the chassis can be mounted via M10 screw holes. The compact profile allows up to three VC-1SC-4K units to be mounted in a single-space RAD-3 rack tray.

Powerful Configuration Tools

The VC-1SC-4K offers deep control options for all types of situations. Onboard buttons, selector switches, and dip switches present an efficient tactile interface for basic setups, while dedicated apps unlock much finer control via a high-speed USB-C connection.

Multi-Platform App Control

VC-1SC-4K apps are available for iOS, Android, iPadOS, macOS, and Windows, enabling comprehensive hardware control from mobile devices and desktop/laptop computers. An intuitive interface and three operation modes provide swift access to signal status monitoring, parameter editing, and custom configurations for every application.

Editor—Complete Configuration Tools

The Editor section is the command center for configuring all the VC-1SC-4K's primary parameters. Different configuration areas are organized in tabs across the top of the screen for quick access, and each selected tab features clear controls for fast operation.

The Layout tab provides precise control over input size and position, while the ROI tab lets you crop areas by dragging or entering exact values. The Color tab offers detailed color correction to fine-tune the look for venue conditions. And with the Audio tab, you can enable/disable embedded audio from the video inputs and control routing of the XLR signals. Test pattern generators are also available to aid in configuration and troubleshooting.

Library—Save, Recall, and Share Setups

In the Library section, you can organize custom configurations for the VC-1SC-4K, enabling fast setup for different applications and scenarios that require multiple units. Store/recall setups offline and on-site and easily share data with installation team members.

Elevate Productions with Roland Switcher Integration

Pairing the VC-1SC-4K with a Roland switcher like the V-1-4K expands your range for widescreen and LED wall productions. In addition, you can use multiple VC-1SC-4K units with the switcher to crop different regions from the same source and send unique images to multiple screens with no latency.
