Orlando, FL June 15, 2011 – Today at the InfoComm show, Roland Systems Group announced the upcoming availability of Mac versions of their Remote Control Software (RCS) for the popular Roland M-480, M-400, M-380, and M-300 V-Mixer consoles.

The RCS is used for control or sending/receiving setup data allowing users to prepare channel setups, effects, and configurations before arriving at the venue. When connected via USB it allows additional and independent control of the V-Mixer.

Now both PC and Mac users can use native version of RCS with current users also using the software in conjunction with Remote Desktop or VNC viewers to use wirelessly with iPads and other tablets.

The Mac version is expected to be released in September and will be a free download on the website through the software updates page. Simply choose the V-Mixer model and download the software. Note that there is also a companion driver that must be loaded initially.

The Mac RCS Beta version will be shown live at InfoComm 2011 booth #C200
