V-1HD+ System Program (Ver.1.15)


HOW TO KNOW THE VERSION
Before you start, check the system program version of your V-1HD+.
  1. Press [ MENU ] to invoke the MENU screen.
  2. Turn the [VALUE] knob to select 17:SYSTEM, then press the [VALUE] knob.
  3. Turn the [VALUE] knob to select VERSION.
    The version information is displayed.
* If this shows the latest version, there's no need to update your V-1HD+.

  • Support for the "V-1HD+ Remote" dedicated control app for the iPad was added.

Bug Fixes
The following bugs were fixed.
  • When receiving P1S command of RS-232, SPS command is done as well unexpectedly.
  • Two parameters "LOAD PARAMETER-VIDEO INPUT" and "LOAD PARAMETER-STILL IMAGE OUTPUT" are related.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE
  • V-1HD+
  • Display monitor capable of HDMI input
  • USB Memory
    * The USB Memory need to be formatted on a V-1HD+.

CAUTION WHEN PERFORMING THE UPDATE
  • Never apply this update data to any product other than the V-1HD+. This update data may destroy the data or system program of other products.
  • Never power-off your V-1HD+ while the update is in progress!
    If a power failure or similar accident occurs during the update process, the V-1HD+ won’t be able to start up in normal operating mode. This will require servicing, so you will need to contact Roland service center near you if this occurs.
  • We regret that we are unable to answer questions regarding the update procedure using this system program. Please perform the update responsibly, following the directions given in this document.

GETTING THE UPDATE FILE
Download the file named "v1hdplus_sys_v115.zip."
The downloaded file is an archive file in zip format. Right-click to select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
After expanding the file, the folder "v1hdplus_sys_v115" holding the file "V-1HDPLUS.PRG" will appear.

PROCEDURE FOR THE UPDATE
Caution
  • You must not rename the extracted files.
  • Never turn off the V-1HD+'s power while the update is in progress.
Creating the Update USB Memory
  1. Copy V-1HDPLUS.PRG to the USB memory device's root directory (the level displayed immediately after opening the device).
    Do NOT copy any other files in the USB memory that holds this update file V-1HDPLUS.PRG. If other files are present, the update may not be completed.
Update Procedure
  1. Connect the USB Memory to the USB MEMORY port.
  2. Hold down the [ SETUP(LINK) ] button, the [ SPLIT ] button, and the [ PinP ] button and turn on the power.
    After power-up, continue holding down the depressed buttons until they light up.
  3. After a short interval, the message "PRESS [ENTER]" appears on the display.
    Press the [ ENTER ], to start update.
  4. When the message "UPDATE COMPLETE PLEASE RESTART" appears, the update has been completed.
  5. Turn off the power.
    Detach the USB Memory from the V-1HD+.

    This completes the update operation. The new system program runs at the next startup.
    Follow the procedure for verifying the version to verify that the version has been updated.
