The VMC-1 is the best way to ensure quality video when converting between formats. Whether you're pulling from your DV- camera and copying tapes for family members, or taking your archive of videos and moving them over to a digital format, the VMC-1 will save you valuable time and ensure the utmost in quality in the transfer, through the various real-time controls available to you. With the VMC-1, you can adjust brightness, color, hue, and contrast for the best picture quality. Or with the Auto Gain control, you can let the VMC-1 determine the best level of your video signal. To ensure minimal color bleed, the VMC-1 is equipped with a 3D Y/C control. The built-in Time Base Corrector and Frame Synchronizer will ensure that you never lose a frame of your video in the conversion process. It even has an audio level control, for boosting quiet audio recordings.

But you don't need to worry about any of that. You can just rest assured that the VMC-1 will allow you to archive and transfer your video with better quality than you thought possible. And you won't have to take the time and headache of recording the video to a computer to render and then dump it back out. The VMC-1 is an in-line processor.
